Point taken, maybe Centerfource is supposed to be the better quality. I really do not know. I used a Centerfource just once and well never get another one so based my comment off my personal experience.

Supposedly LUK makes most clutchs, including the centerforce which centerforce then add the weights and such to call it their own. I too run the standard F-250 LUK clutch bought from Napa, it is stiffer than a stock mechanical system which came stock on a bronco, however it doesn't make my leg sore and I wouldnt call it super stiff or hard to push. Standard metal/cast master from Napa as well. My clutch releases toward the very top of the clutch movement. I just welded a metal tab on the back side of the clutch pedal to hookup the master rod.

Mine engages towards the top of the pedal as well. Thought that was just inherent to the whole setup.
I picked up the LUK today from Napa. At $135 it sure is a LOT cheaper than Centerforce II ($300). It even came with a throwout (can't use it) and new pilot bearing (don't need it).
Once I tighten up my endplay on my trans case output shaft (which is what started all of this in the first place, fixing a vibe in the drivetrain) I'll let you all know how it works.

Installed a new LUK clutch from NAPA- and while it's smoother than the one that was in it, it's not as light as my '01 Cummins 4500. Next I'm going to try and move my pushrod location up a little on the pedal and see what that does. I have more travel than I need at the moment.

By the way, setting my endplay on my Dana 20 output at .002 vs. .007 made a HUGE improvement in vibes at speed. That alone was worth tearing it all apart again!
