LINCOLN rear discs and the park brake cables

i searched! as God as my witness i searched! :cool:
running Lincoln rear discs, 5.5" long travel suspension......thoughts? lengths? what have you guys used?

Tasker did you run the calipers in back. If you did you can use the stock e brakes and the stock lincoln cables. I did not and am mechanical line locking for now. Next teardown or gear change I am going to pull everything apart relocate the shock mounts and swap out the brackets to the correct sides and hook the stock e brake stock. I should have from the start but got anxious to finish.

mounted on the back of the axle....the truck i got them from was a Bronco II with the 9" and dana 44 in it. He had the stock BII cables but the were way too long and kind of busted up. I thought of a line lock as an "emergency" trail brake for a moment or two but not permanent

So did the BII cable not accutate the e-brake at all? What about getting another from the salvage yard or you can order from the back of the 4 x mags that advertise them?

new reman calipers.....i guess i just need to take some measurements and go from there. just don't want real long or a pinch short.....thanks for the head's up though! ;)

Hey post when you get yours. Does BC offer them, I thought that they might. How do you like your brakes?

love the 4 whl discs with hydro boost on my 73. can lock them up with out really having to jump on them. The cables are for my project truck and let's just say, um, it's a ways away :p

have the Lincolns on that as well....no park brake though
