Local Car Show tonight

Took my 66 for a drive and took the scenic route passed a Culvers restaurant that has car shows every Tuesday night. Wasn't sure there would be cars or not but I was pleasantly surprised to find 100 plus and I was told I missed another 100 or so because it starts at 5 & I got there at 7. 66 got some respect & lots of questions & the guy in the 2 tone Olds or Buick(didn't get a good look) said he has a 70 that his wife drives all summer. Lots of quality cars & man did it feel good to relax & enjoy for a while.

Made it down for another Tuesday cruise night at Culvers. I was parked for 30 seconds when the guy with the El Camino came over & told me he had a 66 - He showed me pics & it looked nise - The El Camino was a beast with the 454 & an OD trans. Something there for everyone.

a few more from last night - Rich If the weather is good try for next week(that goes for anybody close enough). The Marlin was a surprise & looked showroom new. Packard was a pretty restoration.

SE Michigan 10 minutes from Chrysler HQ & 45 Minutes from GM & Ford HQ. Lots of plants & test tracks close by too. That's my 66 & my Neighbors Riviera & a Country Sedan wagon that was leaving - hope he's back next week so I can take a closer look.

Another Tuesday at the local car show & it was a beautiful day weather wise. Crazy tilt body roadster got a lot of attention. 70 Torino was super clean with a 4 speed was my favorite of the night.
