Locking hood pins

Do they have locking hood pins available that can be used with the fiberglass hood? I currently just have the pins that just fold over to secure the pin but was wondering if there is something that makes it a little bit more secure to the engine compartment?

If you have one on your Bronco or other vehicle I would like to see it and know the name and where I could get it.

Thank you in advance for your time/help,

Sonny

I had the cheap hood locks that use the cylinder key on the 66. They suck. They would unlock or move 1/2way between lock and unlock where you cant get the key in. Ended up using channelocks often to get em unlocked. Then after having an under hood fire in the 72 I wanted quicker access so I switched to standard hood pins.

I like the quick access as well but with my other vehicle just broken into and they destroyed the inside trying to take it, I was looking to see if there was a way to secure the hood to make it a little more difficult if someone try's to take it. I hate to think about it but that's reality.

I take the opposite approach... No top, no doors, easy to get to my engine... No reason to destroy or break anything. The only problem is that they need to understand my wiring and where my hidden fuel pump switch is to get it to run. ;D;D

I have seen people use small pad locks that replace the pins. May not look great but they work somewhat.

I’m running a steel hood with pins and was planning on using small master lock padlocks instead of the hood pins

I figure i park where I can see my vehicles always and not in bad neighborhoods so not too worried about it but cautious, had my car broken into once so cautiously about my bronco

Summit racing has locking hood pins but they are $230, I typed in locking hood pins in the search
