Isn't that what they make for the HEEPS? I have seen that they have a locking mechanism.

Again.....shortchanged by a vehicle that Barbie owned!

sorry I'm late in responding to your request for a pic. I use something like this

they will keep honest people honest, no match for bolt cutters.

But thinking about what you really need, I would use a plastic coated cable bolted to the underside of the hood, run down between the back of the grille and in front of the radiator to a bracket or with an eye bolt or "u" bolted/welded to the crossmember and locked with a padlock.

I purchased an air conditioning kit from Tom’s and it came with good high quality hood pins. Rather than install these pins in the traditional location, I installed them through the hood cross support, -up through the center of the existing hole. This gives a good sturdy mount. It should stop my hood from stress cracking further. Do this required installing two angle iron pieces to the inner gril, and purchasing and modifying some 4-1/2 inch ss bolts. See link.
