you can get 02 extension wires

the guy I buy my Lightning mods has them for $25.00 a set. They are out of NJ and there number is 732 -780-0770

as long as they use the same 4 wire connector I asume they will work

Be careful with choosing the right O2 sensor, though. They are rated at a specific distance from head.

Bosch makes O2 sensors in two lengths. I believe 16" and 30". Price around $35 each

good....any idea what application would have the longer wires? I have an insider at a parts chain (20% off) but I have to deal with the stupidity.

Don't hold me to this because it's a distant, fuzzy memory, but, I think convertable Mustangs had longer O2 pigtails than the coupes.

<edit> I was bored and found this thread . It doesn't mention years tho.

I bought some yesterday with a pigtail that's about 16" long. According to Advanced Auto that's the longer one. Ryan's harness has an 11" lead. I'm guessing that 27" should be plenty to reach my full length headers.

Part number is Bosch 13953 $39 each
