Not a great angle of header on Dvr side. Will get a better shot next week.
You will want to get rid of those valve covers sooner than later. They won't work with an SEFI plenum. The one's for a 5.0 have the oil fill in the opposite location. And the PCV goes in the back of the intake. So you currently have an extra hole.

Also want to figure out your Coolant Temp Sensor location before too long. The wires in the RJM harness are just barely long enough to reach the factory sender in the heater tube. So keep that in mind. Also be ready to learn that the RJM water temp sender female plug is not the correct size for your temp sender for the gage. There are two push on sizes, and the Harness uses the wrong one.

I've found that the IAC wire is also a little bit short, so you'll want to test fit that at least once before you button up your upper plenum.

Lastly, the PCV scavenging in the upper intake will fight for real estate with your Explorer fuel return connector. So order what you need soon.

The PCV hose for the Fox doesn't quite fit, and the one from the Explorer is a multi piece mess. So figure that out before you bolt on that upper. And check for interference between your body harness at the upper plenum near the firewall. It get's cozy back there.

What is that thing that looks like a fuel pump bolted to the firewall? I'm not saying it won't work, but I'm a skeptic.

Looking good. Keep at it!

Thank you for all the heads up items, I will make sure to check each one.
I have the Ron Francis harness, did they do the upgrades from the RJM deficiencies you noted?

I can’t remember all of them, but the version that we sell at Wild Horses has lengthened sections for many of the key spots. IAC being one of them.
I don’t remember about the water temperature sensor specifically, but we lengthened four or five sections to help accommodate the possible variations of installation layouts.

Finally have a real cpu in front of me.

1- Also want to figure out your Coolant Temp Sensor location before too long. Thank you I did note that and it was dealt with. Good catch.

2- Sure is short!!!

3- the PCV scavenging in the upper intake will fight for real estate with your Explorer fuel return connector. Plugged that off so just fuel return gets vacuum.

4- What is that thing that looks like a fuel pump bolted to the firewall? I'm not saying it won't work, but I'm a skeptic. Correct, it won't work without a Carter P4070 feeding it with a WH accumulator. I have the same setup on my EB. I would love the in tank, but I am not pulling the tank to deal with a FP.
