Just curious, how long does it normally take for in-stock, tested units to leave your facility after payment is recieved?

I ordered one last week and mine should be here today or tomorrow. It is a long ship from Cal to La. I will post some pics and let you know how it works. I have never used one, but the youtube videos make it look easy. We shall see. The good thing about the 40amp pilot arc is that the consumable are at Sears and Home Depot. They use the same consumables as one of the major brands, I do not have the paper that I wrote the machine that it interchanges between.

Got my 40D pilot arc today and tested it out on 3/16" steel, wire with 110V. It cuts pretty well for 110V, not fast but I plan on wiring it to 220V when I get home and trying some thicker stuff. As soon as I get a chance I will post take some pick of the thicker cuts and post up.

The 40D pilot arc is rated for its max potential on 220v. You will see a tremendous difference in power when you hook it up to 220! Hope you post some pictures of your work for other forum members to see!
