Great looking trucks! Additionally, thanks for the heads up, by looking at your photo of the splash shields I realized mine have been on wrong forever!

Porky

Howdy Fordfan

If you ever lose your mind and want to sell Porky please keep me in mind. I love that rig, especially the wheels.

Would you mind telling me what the wheels are so I can try to hunt down a set ?

Thanks,

Jeff

get in line !!
couple of months ago you would have needed a house in south FL to trade Dennis for his porky !
Carte blanche from my better looking half and i could not make the deal !

anyway ....

the wheels are my fav. .. they are:
C.S.I. General Lee's Vectors !!
( a full polished set of 4 will set you back + $1200.- )
I have a 8.5x15 and a 10x15 set !
i would trade my 8.5x15s for the same wheel in a 8 lug 16.5x9.75 (8x6.5) !

see: (its not a 5x5.5 ...but ask the seller he might have a set in the works )

Hey Rox, Franko answered the wheel question the best; He's an authority on vintage wheels. The wheels on Porky were installed June of 1977 and they are branded American Racing Vectors. I am not sure who actually cast the wheel though. They are 15 x 8 with a 15 x 7 spare. The original owner told me that the 15 x 8 wouldn't fit the original spare tire support so he ordered a 7" wheel for the spare.

Well .... if you care to know look at the inside of the wheel !

if the wheel is smooth it should say w. cast raised letters C.S.I. and the rim size !
if you got fins ( see last pic ) you have china wheels !!

ok you dont need to take of the wheels .... looking at some of you pix you can see in this pic the rims valve stem !!

YOU HAVE C.S.I.s Vectors !

CSIs got the valve stem on the side ...china made them w. the valve stem hole in the middle of the rim ! ( see last pic )

Finally got the complete Marti Report today

I ordered the Elite Marti report in January and got it today; It seems like they have a good backlog of orders!

They told me at Marti that with the Elite report they do considerable more research than with the basic report. It seems that after they researched the "Jade Glow Glamour Paint", which is what it is called on he window sticker, that a hundred less were painted that color than they first thought.

495 '77s wee "Jade Glow" and 206 were Rangers. Far less seemed to have body side molding. Pretty cool stuff though... Porky list for $7553.45 new on the window sticker!

So does that mean Porky is a 1 of 1.
