loss of forward gear C4

what would cause the loss of forward gears in a C4? reverse works fine

Forward clutch pack failed is the most common. It applies in all forward gears but not reverse. Rebuild time.

If the oil level is good then there's nothing you can do to fix it without pulling it out. Could be worn out or burnt clutches, bad piston or stator seals. None of which is accessible until it gets taken apart.

Thank you, that's kind of what i figured. Maybe i can get it to stop leaking now if that is possible%)
