I dont think there is anything on Sat that was too bad in terms of big rocks. The trails were slick as snot but they werent too bad technically. Ken would have had no problem on the part he bypassed if he had some better shoes on his truck.
Sunday we did find a few trails that were more technical. Still slick as snot though. I'm amazed at the amount of running water on the side of the mountain.
The other group of guys that were up there, the ranger Ken mentioned and the wrangler previously mentioned found stuff to do. Sunday the kid in the wrangler ended up on a trail behind us and ended up hanging with us for the day. He was unlocked on both ends and had some relatively(cant remember what exactly) mild tires. We pushed and/or winched him a decent amount but even some of our guys ended up winching a few times.
Hopefully John, the owner, will have a trail map and maybe a little better idea on whats out there for trails next year to help planning. We were just out picking along. The trail on Sunday, I thought was FUN! And I know we went past a few others in that section of the Mt that looked to be like what we had been running so I know there is more out there.
He has 100 acres on this plot and another 600 just down the road so the potential is certainly there. He needs support and help. He told us we could make trails, cut trees, do whatever we needed to do. Just like other parks have 'work' days, thats what he needs, workers to find, build, and map for him so he can concentrate on other things, like finishing his buildings, cabins, and so on.
