Anyone know if this is the same except the egr port is deleted?

I have a lightning lower and would like to put a cobra upper on it.

Why not just find a 96-02 Explorer upper that is the same as that one but they’re a dime a dozen.

Purely cuz it’s cooler, and it’s Brand new. I have a complete 96 explorer that I’m going to use the efi on the 351w that the lightning lower is for. And I realize there’s almost no performance gain.

This manifold has been for sale for maybe a month. I’m thinking I can probably snag it for 300 bucks. Not a bad price for a nos explorer upper let alone a cobra. If that’s the only difference.

I have a cobra upper. It looks the same as mine. The plenum is 70mm on the Cobra and 65mm on the Explorer, so a 70mm throttle body is better on it.

Late Explorer intakes (external EGR) don't have it in the manifold either.
$300 for a NOS upper that is the same as an Explorer intake doesn't sound good to me.

Ok, well it’s kinda irrelevant. It’s not an explorer intake that I’m looking at. It’s supposedly the marine version of a cobra upper that is brand new. I did a google search and came up with not a lot. This was just a shot in the dark to ask here. I may just have to buy it and learn the hard way lol.

Hopstr sorry didn’t mean to quote you
