I'm debating between these two. Any opinion on which is more comfortable or better for a mostly street driven EB with some off-road?

I possibly might get a matching rear bench but don't like the look of the taller ones. Beard also offers a matching cover for the stock bench.

In the pics the MC is the black/gray. The other is the Beard.

For a primarily street driven bronco I would vote for the sportster seat. Going if only the fact the sportster has lower side bolster and they will be a pain getting in and out of the bronco and the side bolster get broken down and starting looking bad fairly early on. With my limited knowledge, I beleive the construction is pretty well the same between the two seats.

I would say the same thing I pre-ran the Baja in mine with these seats and they are great. We spent a lot of time with Tim from Beard designing these seats to work in a mostley street Bronco to be able to get in and out easily without having to jump over the side of the seat.

I run the MC Sportsman with the added adjustable lumbar support in mine and love them. Once you get used to getting in and out it's not that difficult IMO. It just takes alittle practice and finesse...once you're in them, you won't want to get out. I have only sat in the Beards for a limited time at SEMA exhibits and such so I can't really comment on them other than to say that they're comfy and seemed like they might fit the wide-bodies a little better,, because they didn't seem to squeeze me quite the same as the similar MC's did.

I have the Master Crafts and love them! I also have the matching rear seat aswell. I have heard alot of great things about beard though, I think it will come down to personal pref and cost

Amen, brother!!! I priced MC Baja RS seats because they were the only ones the wife & I agreed on. For 2 front & a rear seat, the grand total was $2K. I don't doubt the quality of the seat, but they're priced WAY out of my range.

Man that is a chunk of green!! I scored when I bought my two fronts and matching rear for 900. I will say now though, I looked a bit closer at those beards, and they are some nice seats , but they dont seem all that much cheaper in the grand scheme for the seats over the MC's

Thanks for the excellent replies. I think I'll go the Beard route. Costs less & easier to get in & out of. Might even get the matching stock rear seat covers. Has anyone done that yet?

Big J...would've bought yours if they weren't the wides.

Cactus killer...pretty cool you guys were involved with these

It's here!

After patiently waiting over 6 weeks the Beard Sportster seats showed up  Got all the brackets too so the ps will flip forward...might have to take the headrest off to fully flip...don't know yet. Definately seem like very good quality. I wanted a as low or lower than stock riding position & it looks like they'll do that. Light weight too.

Did you get them from BCB? I'd be interested in hearing what you think of the seats after you get to drive with them for a while. They look very nice.

Thanks. I went through the Graveyard (closer = costs less for me). Looking forward to sitting on that suspension.

Was the rear bench part of the package ? I know the cover is.

No, I didn't have any kind of a package. I just ordered a 39" bench at the same time as the front seats in the same colors & pleat pattern. I thought originally that Beard made a matching cover for stock EB benches but they don't do that anymore.
