I'm making new hard lines from the proportioning valve to the master cylinder. I cant' rmber which lines go to which hole on the proportioning valve. The larger resivoir on the MC goes to the back port on the proportiong valve..right? I've got the T style proportioning vavle on a 76. Do I really need to coil my hardlines?

The large reservoir is for the front brakes. Large reservoir should be at the rear of the master cyl. This gets connected to the top front connection on the proportioning valve. The small reservoir, which should be the front connection on the master cyl. get connected to the top rear connection on the proportioning valve.
