I'm very tempted. After talking with Larry this weekend, I am getting excited about wheeling for the first time. Just not sure if the stock gears will do well with the 35's

I still need to buy emergency cables, and I need a cage now that I left mine at Larry's place.

RKM - Met you at Larry's on Sunday . . . too bad he couldn't wait a couple of weeks to take your roll bar! Bring it to Blue Rocks anyway and you can stay on the camp roads if you don't get your cage installed. BUT the trails there are pretty overgrown with brush because the trails don't get used that much. So I'm not sure if you would really want to do any hard wheeling anyway, as nice as your Bronco looks!

Hope to see you there. (Bring Larry!)

For folks that may make it a day trip, what time do you expect the first ride to begin?

We'll start gathering in front of the office starting around 9:00 a.m. It'll take some time for everyone to take photos and such. I don't think we'll really hit the trails until around 10:00. Hope you can make it!

Just don't stop to clean your wheels or you'll be late. %)

There is some room along the driveway into the campground before you get to the office - we'll need some of that for meeting up in the morning and group photo but should be enough room depending upon the number of trailers we get. If that's full we'll direct you to some parking inside the campground and still close to the entrance.

See you there - can't wait to see the new trail rig.

10 Days To Go!

I counted the responses here and a few e-mail replies and right now it looks like we'll have at least 10 to 15 Broncos (and maybe one jeep) planning to come. The weather looks to be good - around 60 and mostly sunny. Should be a great day!

Per the earlier post, try to get to the Blue Rocks Campground entrance by 9:00 a.m. and we'll probably hit the trails at around 10:00. Bring a lunch and we'll try to find a remote campsite for a pic-nic. Dinner will be on your own. After dinner there will be a campfire and lots of Bronco talk!

And maybe we can talk Jed (Campgroundguy) into a night ride!

If you're thinking about coming and you've not responded yet please post a reply to this thread - even if you're a "maybe"! hope to see you there.

Randy showed me the trails were full size friendly!
How many are camping?
Any idea how cold it's gonna be?

Hey guys hope to see ya all soon. Just a note if it is wet, the grass beside the driveway is not a great place to put the trailers. Although there is plenty of room here for a bunch of trailers. Just look for me (Jed) or Zack and we'll tell ya where to put them.
As for the F-250 you might want to smear greese down each side of the truck to fit every trail. The wrinkles give a custom look.

Jed - What's the possibility of a short night ride?

Just checked the 10-day forecast. It's now looking like 30% chance of scattered showers for the 24th. Looks like you guys will be getting a good snow dump today - think we'll still have snow on the ground next week? :(

Hey Lou, if I decide to go awol, you let me crash in one of the bunks?
I am doubtful at best at this point....Grrrrrrr.
Seems we are too much in a hurry to list the house for me to go camping.......
But you never know...I have broken rules before. Not much she can threaten me with now.....;-)

Is this going to be our last oppurtunity to wheel at Blue Rocks this year?
I just love your place up there Jed....
