I scraped the rear diff so much on the rocks it drained itself on the trailer ride home.
You should of spent a couple more minutes throwing the tootsie rolls. You need to throw them at the kids, like in a parade.
How did you get it off the trail with a broken heim? Or did you have a spare?

My transfer case wouldn't stop leaking even after a front output yoke seal replacement late Thursday. Also my horn shorted and started smoking through the column while on the trail (that will make you pucker). Other than that, my wife wrecked our brand new car while heading up to the event to meet me. That sent her to the ER to get checked out and forced me to leave the event. Even though I only spent 1 day on the trail, the overall carnage was high. Maybe next year will be better...
I think heim joints will be an added feature to my tool box. This is the 2nd one that I've broken. Had a spare, but it was back at camp in the tow rig. Made sure to give James his heim back in case some other sorry sucker like myself needs it in the future.
I blame Eugene Rose alone for the breakage of the stub shaft!!! (In his sly tone Thursday morning as I was unloading- 'You're gonna break something today'). Uh huh.

Thursday tore the rear bumper loose and caved in left qtr panel bottom on corum, then tagged a tree with the right door handle on et.
Friday added a few dents to the right qtr.
Saturday no carnage.
Sunday on the way home Jr blew a right rear tire on his superduty. Spare tire carrier wouldn't lower and had to bust it up to get the tire down only to find it was a taller tire. It was the same size as my F250 so we used my spare and changed out both rear tires. An hour later stuck in traffic on I70 his right front went flat. Did a pit crew tire change using the good rear tire we took off before and only lost a couple spots in line.
Great weekend with my boys, wouldn't trade it for anything
My rear drive shaft left my bronco at 50 mph near the end of ride. I just had it rebuilt. It just missed chris, and the other people behind me. Im lucky it missed everybody. It was very scarry seeing it flying through the air at 50 mph.
The rocks smashed my exhaust tip almost completely flat. It got even worse the last day after hitting Corum a second time.
I had to use my Super Duty to get my Father-in-laws camper up my driveway his " real truck" could not handle the task.
LOL! He was real real proud of his "real truck"!!
