At $699 its still cheaper than the potato chip that looked like Jesus.

We picked up an NOS one with those same instuctions a few months ago for our current halfcab service truck themed project. Did not pay near that much though! These were sold through the Rotunda accessory line as I recall.

They are pretty rare, before the one we picked up, the only one I knew of was Terry's.

Having bought and sold a fair amount of Bronco NOS, I've found that the funny part about NOS is that it is only worth a mint to those who know what is is, need or want it bad enough for the right project, and are willing to pay for it. Get all three, and there is a lot of money in it! Without, it is sometimes worthless to most people.

If this is crazy, then what does that make paying $500-$1000+ for a USED roadster mirror that were surely more plentiful?

That was sort of my initial thought when I saw those sales go down. I was just really glad our 66 Roadster had its original on the drivers side and the optional one it came with on the passengers! It just bumped its value up by another $2K! ;D %)
