Mesh windows for Rampage soft top

Our soft top experiment was successful! We bought an additional Rampage soft top so we could use the windows to create screened windows for the soft top. We found an auto upholstery shop that specialized in soft tops to cut the vinyl out of the windows and stitch in some Phifertex “marine mesh” that added the strength back to the windows that the vinyl provided. Originally, we hoped to just replace the windows in our soft top with the new mesh ones, but that didn’t work – it appears Rampage windows are specific for the top they come with. Good thing we had the other top; we just switched tops, and the windows worked perfectly!

Hmm. Never considered screen windows in a soft top. That’s some out of the box thinking!!
