I had all 20+ year old DeWalt stuff that was dieing. I asked a few of my friends that are still working and on here and most were using Milwaukee.

Stuff at home is ketchup flavored, work is mustard flavored.
I only have one mustard flavored thing at home, because that is the only way you can get it. And the big mustard packs are approved carry on as long as you put the isolation 'shipping' clip in them.

Looking at buying a group of Milwaukee cordless stuff . My 20 year old DeWalt stuff is ready for the retirement bin. When it comes to the 1/2" impact everybody likes do you need the big one or does the stubby one work? Plan to use pulling tires and stuff that I usually use the air impact for.
I bought the mid torque 3/8th anvil, I wish I got the high torque one with the 1/2 inch but oh well. I like it well enough, I just picked up the extended neck fuel 3/8th ratchet and love it!

And that’s not “brand specific” as to the grinder for draining a battery. I’ve got a Ryobi One+ that only made it through a padlock hasp before power went. I’m not complaining though because it is handy when away from shore power. Just have to keep a supply of batteries with you.
Mine will last longer than that, usually 30-45 minutes of usage
