Your Bronco looks good and the winch is real handy when you need it! I bought a 66/170 Bronco at a city auction with sagging springs, tired motor and bias ply tires in 1987 drove it all over on dirt roads in the Reno/Carson/Tahoe area for years. Dirt roads in this area are mostly a decomposing granite surface/sand and steep elevations in the mountains. Progress was only stopped on the steepest and roughest roads due to open diffs. I am not familiar with the type of trails you travel on. A limited slip in the back is on my upgrade list which might also be beneficial to you. Also going to a stock height spring package, new shocks with 31" tires. The previously stated recommendations are all good.
