Is any one running the large motor mounts with the bushing in them. Like the ones advertised on the back cover of bronco driver. I think Driven Auto Parts sells them. They are going for around 129.99 un painted. Is it worth the money and if you are running them how have they worked out. Thanks 69sport

I bought a pair but have not used them yet. They do seem much heavier than the conventional ones.

In all I think they are worth the price. Just my .00002 cents.

I am. Very nice. Although It's just a mildly built 351w...cam, lifter, intake, rockers, HTA, headers, etc... :) I like 'em just fine. :D

I'm running a set I got from a fellow board member "Fablife". All stainless and very nice work. Might want to check with him. My thought is they are worth the cost to save yourself from the dreaded radiator eating fans!!!

Yep, running them. They are even the Driven Auto parts ones. Survive very nicely under the 351. Just enough flex so the truck don’t buzz like solid mounts, but hard enough the engine isn’t flopping around. Been that way for 3+ years. No regrets, would do it again. They are heavy duty but I don’t think they are any taller then stock mounts. The fan lined up like it did with the rubber mounts.

I was looking into these myself not because I feel I need more strength but because mine are nearing 40 years of age, and why not upgrade for a few extra dollars while swapping to my 342". I've checked some prices too!
WH $135
JBG $145
Tom's $129
I thought I saw some more else where but don't recall where. Prices don't consider tax or shipping.

Mounts

I was trying to find the best price to. Driven Auto Parts has them on Ebay for 129.99 and 8 bucks for shipping. I will order from them unless I find a better deal. I wonder if they are all the same, made by one company and sold by other vendors. 69sport

I also have the Driven Auto parts motor mounts. Very simple well thought out design. I've no issues with them on my daily driver.

There is a stock Ford heavy duty motor mount if you want a cheaper alternative. This email is from the CA Bronco email list (yahoo groups), courtesy of Jerry O. of San Jose, CA:

I finally found the heavy duty motor mounts I was looking for. These were
recommended to me by Joe Lougee (sp) and one other. I was having trouble
finding them at first, even giving the original application to the parts
guys. (it kept coming up as the same part number as the 302). The part that we were looking for was for a '93 or 94 F250 with a 351 motor.
When we did the search it showed the same part number for '87 thru '93
F250's and '94 thru '97 F250. We did not specify 2 or 4 wheel drive for
the search. Here is the brand and part number.

Anchor Industries, Incorporated part #2564

This heavier duty motor mount is a direct bolt on for a 302/5.0 and
351/5.8. The mount has the rubber sandwiched between to pieces of steel,
glued and secured with a very heavy rivet. (Looks more like a bolt).

Hope this helps someone else. I took a picture of it by my pics wont load
onto the computer. Keeps coming up as fatal error. If I can get it
working, I will post a pic on the BFIX board. Jerry

He later sent more info:

Ask for '95 Ford F250/350 with a 351. I think the part number on the box of the ones i got at All Parts Auto stores is:

31263
