Finally done with the drive to MD from Monterey, CA. Didn't see many EBs, just a bunch of 6 gen Broncos and a few new sports. If you're in the MD/PA/NJ/DE area shoot me a PM. I'm in Havre De Grace, just joined MEB :)

Also have a question for you cold weather Broncos, on a cold start the motor will die as soon as I depress the brake pedal, guessing I either need to raise my idle or maybe the vacuum booster is causing it.

Glad you made it safely. I had a similar issue on cold start up days. It was a vacuum leak with in the brake booster. I also adjusted my idle up a little during colder weather. I kept a screw drive in the glove box at all times. Have a great Christmas.

Welcome to Maryland. I lived in Santa Clara for two years for work, then moved back to Maryland. Glad you made it safely. I had a '69 Scout that did almost the same as your Bronco. I upped the idle fixed the issue and I sold it a few months later.

Thanks! I helped a buddy build his scout a few years back, they're good rigs!

Welcome to MD! I'm right down the road in Churchville. Havre de Grace is a nice place, check out Hopkins Farm Brewery, my blue 71' is frequently there on Fridays if the weather is nice;)

MEB is a great group....welcome to the other side!
Thanks! Joined right before I moved down, pretty excited to head to some events. I shot the Bronco offroadeo an email trying to see if they'd let classic broncos on one of their trips, I think it'd be fun to run with the new 6th Gens

Got it out of the garage, unplugged the vacuum booster to confirm my problem and the new booster came in the mail today from rockauto. Hard to beat $80 for a 1977 reman

That's for sure! Not just the price though, but the fact that they have enough cores to rebuild and list them for sale!
If they are indeed originals, then they should be great if built with good quality parts. Be sure to let us know how the replacement works for you.
Full report!

Welcome to Maryland. I am on the Eastern Shore between Centreville and Easton. I dont get up your way much but Harve De Grace is a nice little town. MEB is a great group used to be a member but life got in the way and I dont get to Wheel much. They are some good places to Wheel in PA and VA but unlike the Cali you are going to get it muddy. Maryland is a really cool state we have a little bit of everything, mountains to the west beaches to the east bay in the middle, if you want the city we got that if you want the country we got that too. Unfortunately we only get associated with Baltimore and DC and there is a lot more to the state than that!
