Msd distibutor gear replacement question

I picked up a slightly used msd Distibutor 8352 and I need info on what type of replacement gear to use on my mostly stock 302 with an rv cam in it.

If you look up by part # speedway says has an iron gear , so would work with flat tappet cams… non roller ,,, But that doesn’t mean the used unit you have hasn’t been changed??

If its a roller cam just use the stock gear
