I had to wait all day to reply. I am terrified of something bad happening to Emma. She is almost 12 now, and I am thankful for every day with her.

Nothin' like a good dog!

I am sorry for your loss. This just reminds us all that there is always extra time to scatch a set of ears, or throw another ball. I have had to put down both of my labs over the last two years (10 & 13 years), after the fact it is hard to imagine the loss, and will always feel that I should have spent a little more time scratching ears and throwing the ball just one more time.

sorry to hear of your loss, sure does make us ponder the simple things in life that often go ignored due to the crazy world we live in. Going to have to go play more frisbee with my pooch...

There are so many things that I would like to say but I can't stop:cry:

There is no doubt that Dakota missed her friend and stayed as long as possible to help ease the pain . My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family tonight .

Micheal's hanging out with his buddy again. Sorry for your loss. I also believe that dogs have a free pass to heaven and they're happy and with each other again.
