so i live in Turkey. one of my turkish gearhead friends has a 69 mustang and a complete front clip from an 03 cobra. he has already done the hard part of merging the two. complete with shock tower surgery and using all the parts from the 03. engine, steering etc. where the problem starts is the computer harness end of things and merging that with the original mustang wiring. he swears that he saw an article in some magazine a couple months ago with the same swap. he is ready to give it up and just put an old school engine in it. i would hate to see all the work he has done so far go to waste. so anybody got a recollection of that article or any other good places to look for detailed information about that particular swap?

Ron Francis makes a wiring harness to adapt a 5.0 fuel injection system to a classic Mustang wiring harness. Not sure if they make something that will adapt the 03 modular engine to the classic Mustang, but that is where I would start.

You just need to run the 03 wiring harnass as a stand alone system. Use the stock ignition switch to power the main relay for the electronics.
