My dad and I are working on this '69 Bronco, we just started disassembling it.

This is gonna be a trail only rig.

We just pulled the rear axle this past weekend. I am thinking about running some shackle sliders on the rear, hanging them off the side of the frame after cutting the old hangers off. Anyone here using sliders?

We are hoping to run D44 & D60 from a 78/79 F250.

When I bought the Bronco, it came with a title and VIN plate from another Bronco, a '75 model. This Bronco has its own VIN plate, but no title. How would you guys approach this to get some tags and insurance on it?

I cannot speak from experience about the shackle sliders but I have not heard much good about them. I really think your best bet is a shackle flip with the springs you have or getting new springs.

Ok, I got the slider idea from a thread over on Pirate 4x4 and like to try different things. I am trying to keep it low to the ground. Would the shackle flip lift the vehicle significantly? I need to do more research and ask better questions.
