Looking good so far, keep it up. On the rear flares, I'd do it right prior to painting and look for some front cutouts and lay them in. Otherwise to get by, just paint the ones you have the same as your body color and they will blend in better.

thanks, yeah that would be best, but i dont mind painting the flare just the ones on it are kinda beat up a bit, we will see. It would be sweet if someone made an easy weld in flare for a factory look.

That would be too easy... ;D I don't mind the rivet look but I suppose they could have been bondo'd in to hide the rivets. Actually, I went with #10 hex button head small bolts. But rivets would have worked, been flatter and allowed for bondo. Fiberglass, think I got them from WH.

for the back one that doesnt look that bad, again front is staying fenderflareless. Its the difference of painting it with it on the vehicle to have a chance to fill it in and add bondo, and im guessing you shouldnt bondo them if they were plastic. ??

^^^ nothing a little grinding cant cover up.^^^

oh they came out nice, i had help on the rest of welding to save me grinding time. lol,

dropped everything off to powdercoat the shift linkage and twin stick, the tranny cover and bumpers. should have them back hopefully early next week.

the fat ones are the front bumpers since i cut more off

Gonna change the front detroit to a yukon grizzly locker and ordered some ox ujoints, ive heard of alot of breakage on the d44 detroit locker internals. anyone else experience this ?

more on the list, quick release door hinges, rear glass flares, rear glass rubber to replace back glass whenever shes actually drivable. And yukon grizzly front locker. Ox ujoints on the way also for front.

Tranny is in, front locker arrived today, a few odds n ends, well alot of odds n ends and this thing might be drivable very soon. WOOOO HOOOO.
