So I started on the little tear down of the bronco today.

First, I got some oval led taillights for Christmas last year, so I put them in today. About 30 mins of grinding and cutting and they were done. Now all I need to do is wire them up and mount them.

Then I started taking apart the dash so I can rewire it and make a new panel. I'm going to put toggle switches and gauges on it, mounted to a piece of 18 ga stainless. ;D

After all that is done, its time to mounts these puppies....

Considering you started this thread in January, it looks like this project turned out to be more than a week or two... What about that sounds so familiar to me?

Let's see some pix of those LEDs installed.

took the rocker panel covers off today. i was suprised, not much rust at all, actually the passenger side had none, driver side had only 2 bad spots about the size of a quarter. still cant decide yet if im going to cut them off and tube the bottom or just leave them

im going home to nc in 2 weeks and trailering the bronco home, then the D60's get layed to it, along with the new engine ;D

woo hoo i drove it today finally.... about 15 mins after driving it i blew the bottom radiator hose.... luckily i could just loosen the clamp and slide the hose onto the pipe more and tighten it back down....
it cooled very well considering i dont have a thermostat
tomorrow i am installing the twin sticks i got in today ;D then when my spray on bedliner kit gets here the interior is going to be done
