need a measurement

76 bronco badly rusted need to know what the dimension is between the top rails of the bed part of the tub.Specifically the inside to inside measurement just before the tailgate and just behind the doors. hope this makes sense.thanks for you're time

ON my very straight '69 Uncut I get exactly "56 from side to side at the talilgate and "56 from side to side at the right behind the seats. I measured my 76 and got 56 1/2 on both measurements. I believe 56 inches is correct because my '69 's dooes fit absolutely perfect and it is 100% stock with 52K miles. Its the one I take all my measurements off of.

Yup, 56". I have a spare bulkhead in my garage and it's exactly 56" long.
