Need help deciding what color to paint hardtop

I'm a relatively new user and need some help deciding what color to paint the hardtop for my 68" Bronco. The Body and Flares are red and the interior is black. My under carriage is powder coated Cardinal Silver so I first thought about painting it Cardinal Silver. My painter wants to paint it Red, but I think that's overkill. Black would be nice, but all the trim is either chrome or polished aluminum. I'm not sure if there is one correct answer but would love any feedback from all of you. I am trying to upload pictures but haven't figured out how. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I say Silver, but if it was stock, the white is the way to go

I'd do the silver. Nothing else is white. And I hate b lack hard tops except on. BLack broncos

Silver would look bad ass on that Bronco in my opinion.

White would look best, but not Wimbledon White. It looks almost like caramel with red. Bright white like Chevy or Toyota white would look better.

I ended up Black with my top. Just installed my cage and painted that silver to offset the darker colors.

I'll vote for red. I've seen one done that way and it looked awesome. Didn't hit the overkill mark in my estimation.

Silver would look rad on that Bronco. My hardtop was white (on red) and then I painted it black. I think I liked the white better between the two on mine..

Hmmmm well I almost agree that red COULD be overkill just as I think Orange is overkill too so we painted our top black. Our Bronco is hugger orange and the black top looks nice with chrome window trim. But I wonder if red top with a matching upper silver stripe mite break up the red! Think Special décor group stripe? Chrome trim around the top glass too. Could look really sharp. But it think the easy route that most would pick would be silver top to match. Blck or white top is a 50/50 toss. lol

I started to vote black, but that white just looks so good w/ it. Makes it look more retro IMO.

Red on the sides and white on top. You dont want to add any more heat to a already hot riding truck.
