A few years back a bronco I saw had some very distinct rocker guards. They wrapped the rocker from inside the the door sill all the way under and around the pinch weld. What was different as that it started inside the door sill but then protruded out to form a slider then went back into the body, this person then capped the ends. I want to say these may have been an old set of BC Broncos sliders. Can any remember who made these, I would like to buy a set if they are still available or even a good used set.. Thanks...Mo in Clovis

Kinda sounds like the ones from American Bronco, same as the old Hanson rockers but made by ABCo now.

I was thinking the same thing, but they haven't ever run over the door sill as a regular production item that I'm aware of.
Maybe the first few, but not sure.

Check American Bronco's website out though, so you can see if your memory matches at least the overall profile at least. If not the sill detail.
Seems to me that any production version could not do that, as the clearance under the door would be minimal at best. Inconsistent at the worst.
Maybe they were some custom units for an always doorless Bronco, or perhaps your memory is telling you they went over the sill, because they had that extra flat "step" section up top.

Easy enough to find out though. I'll ask.

Sliders

Pretty distinct, as they looked like the ABC but since Hanson use to have their stuff made here in Fresno, and I did see them here I assume they may have been one offs as I remember that they wrapped the door sill and it didn't look like it was welded on.It was also not a doorless rig and yes the door gap was right on and there was no sag.It bolted on the door sill as well so the mounting was hidden for the most part. Wish I had pictures, but the rig was sold years ago.....Mo
