Does anyone have installation instructions for these shocks? It's pretty simple but I want to make sure I'm putting everything together right. It looks like the metal sleeve goes in the bottom with the bolt and tightening nut, but how does the top go together? I've got the rubber grommets and metal "hats" (washers) in position but there's an extra metal sleeve. Does it go on top somewhere? Or is it just extra? Thanks.

Yikes - always remember to look at things before you taken them apart-

Bottom to top with the stud mount.

It goes unsidedown hat, bushing - through the hole - bushing, hat and then nut. Basically surround the bushing in metal and tighten it down via the nut.

The parts kits that come with the shocks are usually generic, I've got some sleeves left over from when I installed shocks way back when.

rick, the metal sleeve you speak of is extra. You don't need them on the rear upper bushing.
