The local group here has been taking a week to 10 day trip for the last several years. Mainly running west to Colorado and S. Dakota. We would like to change it up this next year and run south. Help us choose a couple more scenic but challenging spots. Leaving WI and heading to Hot Springs Arkansas and Flat and Nasty in MO.

Any suggestions?

What time of the year are you talking about? There are enough parks in Tennessee and Alabama to occupy 10+ days of wheeling. Probably to far south for ya though. Our group rents Greyrock ORV usually sometime in March for a weekend and would be glad to have you ride with us.

If you can talk them into it, come on down to Texas.

Katemcy Rocks is a hella fun trip. http://katemcyrocks.com/

Trees Ranch is also lots of fun.

Up in Oklahoma, you HAVE to hit Clayton if you love to wheel, and wheel hard (body damage almost assured, lockers, alloy shafts and a winch highly recommended)

Be prepared for hot, humid days, and hot, humid nights with some killer wheelin thrown in the mix.

Hot Springs & Flat Nasty......;D
Depending on how many days at each, that could
almost fill up your tank!
When are you planning this?

June or July 2008- just trying to get the locations and dates nailed down for the group. Hard to schedule with 8 families going. 2broncos- do you think that we could do 3 days at each park. Looking for pretty extreme stuff.

by all means you could do 3 days at Hot Springs. OCBR starts on Wed. afternoon and runs thru Sat. and there's plenty to do - extreme & not extreme.
Flat Nasty - we've only been the one time (June 07) There's some pretty
extreme stuff - we were only there for Fri.pm and Sat. Not sure what all
will be complete by 2008. It's primitive camping except for the 1 (2 bdrm)
cabin that they have that is nice. They were working on bldg the office,
so you might want to check and see with them. There are some motels
that aren't too far from the park.
Keep us informed - you never know who'll show up to join you....;D
