I have had this 1973 Bronco for about 15 years and my dad had it for 5 years before that. The owner before decided to cut off the coil mounts and switch it to leafspring in the front for some reason. I started installing a 3-link system with coil overs. Started having kids and life busy, have not had time to finish it. It has been in Arizona most of its life and does not have any noticeable rust. It was running about 6 years ago. It has a 5.0 and harness out of a 89 mustang i believe. Just a couple extras is Air locker in the front, 14" coilovers by ballistic fabrication, the 3 link is also by Ballistic Fabrication. Also have a soft top by Speciallty top co. It will take some work to get it going. I think its finally time t let someone with more time and money finish it. Im just having a hard time with how much i should list it for, and help would be appreciated. Thank you

does it currently run and drive down the street? if it doesn't run then i'd expect to take a hit on it. either way, in its current configuration i think your market is a bronco enthusiast that can fab and do most of the work themselves OR a bronco shop that sees its potential and wants to find a clean bronco (to build) for a client. both of those markets won't be paying top dollar for it despite this looking like a really clean bronco.
i think the biggest swing in $$ is if it's a runner or not?

I'm trying to wrap my head around the front leaf spring install..
Maybe a chevy guy owned it at one time.

I know you're looking for help pricing it, but do you have a price in mind?

Yeah, i have no idea what they were thinking. I see so many different ranges on craigslist here in AZ anywhere from $15k up to $40k many in much worse condition. I dont know if $25k is just way too high since its not currently running.

BaT was not a good place to sell that Bronco. It was a bit of a haphazard build, BaT regulars want nice resto-mods, stock survivors or true patina.

Either someone got a really good deal, or the markets not doing too good right now.

The market is fine for recently finished, updated/upgraded running Broncos, which can range from the upper 30's to 60's. Ones that are completely gone through and are running with upgrades can get to the 80's/90's. With a Coyote engine well into the 100's.

"Project" Broncos, non-running Broncos, "lipstick" Broncos, older restored, or all original and not restored will rarely get more than into the low-mid 30's, and most of the time in the low to mid 20's. These are all August 2025 sales:

To be realistic, if someone can't drive it and the engine doesn't run, they can't tell if it needs a motor, brakes, fuel system, drive lines, wheel bearings, tie rods, if it has death wobble, if everything like lights/turn signals, wipers etc works, and a host of other issues. It's a HUGE risk for the buyer. I would put yours in the $18-22K range depending on a detailed inspection and the right buyer. Probably not what you want to hear, but just being honest. There's a lot of competition for your bracket of Broncos, with limited buyers who want to deal with a project, and a lot of competition for the next level up bracket of running and reasonably good shape. There's a lot of choices for those who want a running Bronco even if it's not in cosmetically great shape and for those in good cosmetic shape that are running on non-restored drivetrains but are running. I'm sure other's will pipe up with their opinions, but that's mine.

I agree with you, I can spend a day on it and at lease get it to fire up and show the motor is good. I have a few local people that have told me to let them know
If I ever do decide to sell it, but realistically I would be happy to get $20k for it. Thank you for your input.
