I own a 1977 Bronco and I was thinking of relocating the gas tank filler access holes. What will I need to get and where can I locate it?

I have no choice. I purchased some armor plating for the Bronco that will cover up one of the concealed fuel fillers. I was thinking of cutting a small hole in the armor plating to mount a flip up Le Mans gas cap either that or just mount the Le mans gas cap next to it. The other concealed filler is useless. My secondary gas tank was removed. I recently purchased a new auxillary tank with all the necessary hardware. I was thinking of putting both fuel fillers near each other making refueling easier.

If you don't have to cut into the fuel doors to mount your armor. Do like most of us that cut the fenders to the body line. mount them loose and tuck them into the fender well with a spring so you can pull them out and fill up. Nice clean look also. if you ever want to loose you bodyt armor you still have the nice and valuable 77 fuel doors.

you would rather have something sticking out on the side of your truck to catch rock, trees, shrubs, cut the armour not the truck.
