I need help choosing the right wheel. I plan on running a 40" Toyo Mud Tire the tire measures 40"x 15.5"x20". The Bronco is a 75 model with stock width axels, 5.5" lift 3" body and extended radius arms. I'm unsure of what size wheel I should get, also the backspacing.

15.5" is wide!
So you need atleast a 10" wide wheel maybe a 12".
They do make wider wheels but they start getting really expensive after 12".
If you want beadlocks it will get a little more complicated but then again since most beadlock wheels are custom built width may not really be an issue.
Sounds like it's going to be a mean machine with that size/kind of tire. Congrats.

I will probably go with a 20"x 12" wheel. Does anyone have ain't idea on what type offset I would need with this set up? Also do you think I will have to run a wheel spacer? Thanks

Ken, Maybe take a look at the Fuel wheels. They are made by MHT I think it is. They make a deep dish series in 20 inch that look great and should work cause of the deep dish. Im sure you know but it willnt be cheep. I have the same suspension left and new tires and wheels are around the corner for me. Pretty sure im staying with the 17 inch wheels though. Good luck and please be sure to post pictures when you finish.

Thanks for the input. Fuel is the wheel I've been looking at the Maverick. It comes in a 4.75 backspacing, does anyone no if that will work for me?

I believe I talked to someone that had 4.5 back spacing in a 17 inch fuel wheel and it worked just fine. From what ive figured out so far with the 17 inch wheels that should work. Then the smaller back spacing pushes the wheel out further and gives you more dish. If you call MHT who makes the Fuel line and talk to Tom he should be more then helpful. There is also a picture of a 75 bronco in there suv pictures with 17 inch wheels that might help you get an idea.
