Need Help with wipers

I recently got my truck back from the body shop, and had just a few things to take care of before I go for state inspection tomorrow. I'm hung up with one last thing, the wipers. They work well, problem is that they are opposite of each other in the cycle. After I installed one wiper and determined its park position, I installed the other one, and when I ran them, one wiper headed down the windshield like expected, the other up over my freshly painted roof. F! Anyway, it seems like something is switched around, but after the incident I have little patience for monkeying around till I figure it out. I suppose I could pass inspection with wipers out of sync, as long as they are wiping I should be good. But sooner or later this needs addressed. Thanks,

I answered my own question, so for the purpose of helping somebody searching for a solution to the same problem down the road.
My wiper linkages were installed wrong. The long linkage off of the wiper motor runs horizontal, above the windshield. The two smaller linkages that connect to the wiper shafts will be perpendicular to this linkage mid cycle - but on the upper side of the horizontal linkage...my problem - the passenger side wiper shaft linkage was perpendicular to the long horizontal linkage but on the lower side, down towards the windshield, not on the upper side, towards the roof. I flipped it around and I'm back in business....with a scratch on my truck already...it will pass

I feel for you, the first scratch is the hardest to take:mad: . At least you didn't bend it too. My paint is 20 years old. I don't worry about it much any more.
