I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me diagnose this problem that i encountered with my 75. The bronco sat in my parent’s driveway for about two years with little or maintenance /driving when i went to college. I decided to bring it back up and start building it again. Anyway, I went through a couple new tanks of gas. I drove it for about an hour one day and everything worked fine and then parked it. The next day i came out and it would not run well. I lost more than 75% power ( I really have to play with my clutch to make it even move!) and it just does not sound normal. It starts easily and idles fine? Any suggestions? I cleaned the carb, no vacuum leaks, replaced the distributor cap, plugs, wires. Please Help!

Thanks

Did you check you fuel filters and lines. Could be condensation in your tank? My guess is something with fuel system considering it sat for 2 years. Unless you used a special type of fuel (sorry don't remember type) which won't break down for 2 years I can pretty much guarantee your fuel went bad, as most gas only lasts for 90 days, and is gumming up your fuel system now.

Anyone else have an idea?

Hope I'm not off in la la land with this diagnosis.

Good luck
