I have a 1977 with a WH 3-1/2 inch lift. It's running 35's with stock axlesand 11 pack leaf springs. I'm looking to get some better articulation out of it. Was thinking of going inboard shocks or dual rears. Any help would be great!!

Post some pictures of it flexed up.
I got great flex out of a 3½" lift, but I had to run 33s. Even those rubbed the inner tubs in the back pretty good. Not exactly something that clearances out very easily. So you may be limiting your stuff potential. As for droop potential the rear driveshaft will start to bind with more than normal 3½" lift shocks in stock mounts.

Rear dual shocks will do nothing to add articulation
Inboard shock mounts tend to hurt on road performance significantly. are you willing to undermine street manors for more articulation?

I get some pics soon. I was also thinking the drive shaft might be limiting it also. The truck is mainly for rocks and trails so road handling is not my concerm

BC Broncos Wristed Axle Housing, WAH, is a good investment with stock radius arms. The rear should be good with your leafs and the right shocks. Mine is 4.5 lift but flex would be similar.

I got Wildhorses 3.5" 11 pack rears also, but in the front duff long arms/3.5" duff coils and f250 shock mounts welded high. Its hard to get a tire in the air and rides smooth on the street.... I'm also looking to weld new shock mounts in the rear in the near future. I'll be going the outer route to still have it ride nice on the freeway

Things that can limit rear articulation:
1. Shock length.
2. Stock parking brake cables.
3. Stock length brake hose.
4. Shackle will ultimately limit droop travel too, but other things come first.
(by the way though... Are they stock shackles, or aftermarket? This matters as to which direction they get installed)

Front suspension limiters can be:
1. Trackbar
2. Steering linkage (stock Inverted-Y still?)
3. Shock length of course.
4. Radius arms.
5. Brake hose.
6. Driveshaft angle/pinion angle.
7. Coil spring design/rate.

So you've got a few things to look at!

X2 on the WAH. I also have the inboard shock mount WH 3 1/2 11 pack and progressive springs up front and 35's. I ran it up a ramp to about 36" before the tire came off the ground.

3.5” Springs with 39.5” tires.
Long radius arms w/ bushings, updated steering, long travel shocks, F250 shock towers, 3” body lift and lots fender trimming.
Wristed arms or 3 link is next.
