Hey there i am new to the bronco scene. Had a mustang 5.0 and sold it to get me a earlie bronco. So i got the bronco in good shape but i hate the carb deal so i decided to go efi on it i have been researching how and what i need to do it,but everyone has been using the mustang 5.0 set up but i found a good deal on a 95 ford truck that has a 302 with 90,000 miles runs good the only thing is that soom stuff is not where the mustang set up has it so i am wondering if anyone out there has used this set up. and what i can do if i want to use the aod tranny it has too, thanks again guys will be waiting for positive info.

try searching on here for lots of info.

the truck intake will be too tall so you need a 5.0 intake. you should be able to use the truck harness and computer if you keep the stock cam and injectors.

I would pass on that donor. The E4OD transmisison is WAY too big for an early Bronco. You won't be using much of that donor, just some of the sensors and injectors. Not much else will be an easy swap

actually i think the HOLLEY upper will bolt to that lower!! it will if it has the rectangular ports.

the HOLLEY upper may be a bit much for a bronco though

edit: corrected. thanks ryan!!

We use the car intakes because they fit under our hoods. The truck intake systems are waaaaay too tall to fit without serious mods ....even with a 3" bodylift.
Also , the mustang set-ups have a HUGE aftermarket following because of the Mustang crowd, that means stuff can be easily had and cheaply ....
For the same reason , troubleshooting a Mustang system is much easier because of the wealth of free knowledge that is available at websites like this one and others.
Here is the first place you need to go ......do ALOT of reading .... most importantly since you are just starting out , find the link to the "Bronco Driver" article and read it.

no, it was the old Holley Systemax upper that used to fit the truck 5.0L lower intake.
5.8L and 5.0L don't use the same intake, so it won't fit the 5.8L lower.

I'm telling you, most of that donor will end up back in the scrap yard
