I picked up my '69 from an as-it-turns out jerkoff in Albequerque, but that story has been told. Got it in October, and planned to do a little of this, little of that, and drive the hell out of it. I'm not a very patient individual. Planned for a weekend cruiser, and kept that plan on track for the most part. Just got the cage in, stereo finished, door inserts on, etc, so I thought it might be time for an update with some pictures. Kinda beat up when I got her, but a decent start. Since October, I have completely redone interior, to include carpet, seats, dash, cage, rear quarter build, etc. Did a disc swap on the front, hydroboost, 4x4x2 power steering, 3G alternator, MSD setup, 24 Gal main tank. Alot of little odds and ends of course in the mix. Cleaned up some paint work also. Lastly, the stereo install. Fiberglassed a 12" into the rear quarter, mounted a set of wake tower cans on the cage, 4 channel under the seat, and pair of 6.5's in a Centrapod on the tunnel. Most of the updates have been in other threads, but if you see anything worth asking about, ask away. A few before and afters...

And a few more of from last weekend. (Before the inserts and the emblems went on) Also, the stereo.

Twin stick going in this weekend, then it's time to drive it for a bit before I start swapping axles. Spent more than I planned this winter, but I love it.

Wow, very nice rig! How do you like that steering wheel? I was thinking about getting that same one.

I like it alot. I got it from Summit for pretty cheap. I think it was 85-90 bucks with free shipping.
