???????
OK I got my BB9 " housing and I am about to start building it, ARB, 31 spline , discs ,dual shock mounts already on the housing. But first, I did a search and found nothing about where the drain plug hole needs to be and how far into the housing it will(shouldn't) go , maybe suggestions on where to get the plug.
All opinions and info welcome, I am getting EDICATION now , then start.
Thanks

sorry, there isn't one, but summit carries a boss that you drill into the housing and make a plug, its in the transmission section

I just drill a hole in the bottom off center then tap it and use an allen head pipe plug (pipe plugs self seal athough I use teflon tape to ensure no leaks) size is up to you I think I used a 1/8 npt. Mine is almost flush with the housing but it has been scraped a time or two no serious damage yet but you could get fancy and make a guard for it take something like 1/2" steel pipe and cut about a 1/8-1/4 length of it and weld it to the housing to help protect the plug.
