Better than the others I've seen but still just average. Nothing I'd run out to buy. Saw a new ranger today at the beach.

In typical Ford stupidity, they are going with that wrap-around front bumper that limits tire size. (Remember the 1987 F-series?) It would be super cool and awesome if those plastic fenders could be removed to reveal a wheel well to accommodate 35's without a lift. (...and 37's with a "Bronco Box")

Unfortunately, just like the F-series...you will have to cut metal to run a decent sized tire.

I always appreciated the early 80's Toyota HiLux truck with the huge wheel wells, and tiny stock tires. A pair of front springs and a rear lift block, and you were on 33's. I also liked that the 4x4 had completely different sheet metal than the 2WD.

I was hoping to get a live axle Bronco with a short wheelbase, and 90 degree approach / departure angle, that had a real tailgate, and remove-able top and doors. But that appears to be too much to ask. Instead it looks like I'm getting a boxy FJ Cruiser.

At this point, it looks like the JK Rubicon is still the best bet for a Mall Crawler.

I think this is their strategy:

1) Release the 2019 Ranger
2) Release the 2020/2021 Bronco
3) People that bought the Ranger trade for the Bronco
4) Release the 2022 Ranger Raptor
5) People that bought the 2019 Ranger and 2020/2021 Bronco trade for the Ranger Raptor
6) 2023/2024 Release the Bronco Raptor Stegosaurus Pterodactyl
7) All the world trades in their vehicle

8) FORD recalls every car for not having (fill in the blank).

I see several areas where the renderer Failed. Scout rear side windows and missing front fender crests among them. Seriously? Who signs off on these guessing things?

What worries me is that it's late September of 2019, and we still haven't seen anything from Ford. Are they that worried?

The "new" Ranger only come with a 4 cylinder. Sure, it's turbocharged, intercooled, direct injected, yadda yadda yadda. Don't care. The Bronco better be offered with at LEAST a six, and I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering if the new 7.3L gas V8 will fit.

My guess is its actually going to look nearly identical to the early Bronco on the exterior. Of course we are all hoping that. I really believe that's what they'll be shooting for.

Heard someone on Facebook say that they have seen it and that the early Bronco community can relax, they are going to love it. I got the impression he was only talking about the look though not necessarily the drive train....

I would expect it to be revealed at Sema this year or next. They need the offroad aftermarket to push the publicity. They get a big bang for the buck at Sema. I am not going this year but will go next year for sure.

I lost interest in this one.

I'm still interested but can't wait any longer. Several of my old vehicles have bit the dust recently, and I'm having to replace them with vehicles that actually exist. My 4x4 options are the Jeep Wrangler or the Jeep Wrangler. ;) I'm still looking forward to eventually seeing the Bronco Bronco when it arrives "in the year 2525, if man is still alive".
