That wouldn't surprise me, and it could be way worse. You have to remember Ford is counting on sales which means they need buyers other than the Classic Bronco crowd (unfortunately).

It says it was a commissioned illustration by Ford Truck Enthusiast. Just like 6G, it is just an idea and has no relationship to what Ford may or may not be doing. The front clip totally misses the mark for me, as does the low roofline.

That is not a removable top.
It is like the Isuzu Amigo which was despised for the removable back falsely advertised as a removable top.

Feel the wind at your back. (From the advertising of the day)

What we mean by a removable top is over our heads.

2 doors?
Wishful thinking and you should know what that is worth.

(Wish in one hand, take a dump in the other hand, see which one gets full)

Well, it's a fan rendering. So, I will still wait for what FORD actually releases. However, kudos to imagination and the person the drew this up.

Maybe the goal is to shove so many "yuck" versions at us, then when the real one is released, it won't look so bad after all lol.

Man that thing is ugly.

I think its a safe bet that wont know what Ford is going to release until Q4 2019 at the earliest. Maybe they'll release it at SEMA.

Nope way too small for the Ranger platform. Its gotta squeeze 2 adults and 3 kids and room for a lunch box in the back. Think Bronco 2 size or a + size Escape.

Ford built the Bronco II on the Ranger platform.
Then they built a four door version for the larger market, but they called it the Explorer.
Then they dropped the Bronco name from their line.
Then they dropped the Ranger from US production.
Then they built the latest Explorer a unibody.

Now they are going to build another four door Soccer Utility Vehicle on the Ranger platform.

It will be the Explorer II, but they have that now popular Bronco name to reuse.

With the rake of the windshield, it almost looks like a car. %)

I just merged the 4 threads talking about the 2020 Bronco... and that was just the 4 started in the last 30 days. ;D

Oops. I just realized I also merged in a poll thread asking where threads on the 2020 Bronco should go. Sorry. I didn't mean to do that since it's kind of confusing now. Unfortunately there's no undo.
