Decided that my old steel half cab was beyond repair which put me on the path of looking for a replacement. Talked with the folks at Kentrol several times and finally decided to give them a try on a fiberglass half cab. Called them Monday morning and asked if they had one in stock. They didn't have one in stock but said they could have one ready in a day. So I called a buddy of mine to see if he wanted to go on a road trip. We left Monday evening at about 7:00 PM from north Missouri and arrived at Kentrol (was close to 750 miles from Missouri) about 10:30 AM and they had my half cab and radiator core support ready to go. Got a brief tour of their facilities and they are definitely first class. They were interested in not only selling a quality product but in you as a person not just another sale. The quality of their products is great and I recommend them to anybody out there who is looking at an alternative to steel.

If it the same place, Kentrol is in North Lima,Ohio. About an hour outta Youngstown. They make fiberglass tubs and panels for early broncos (and they use to make stuff for scouts, too) I was working in Boardman,OH years ago and called the place, wound up going out just to look... the people there were SO nice, it was pretty cool the owner took me around and showed me all around the place, how the make the body panels and tubs to how they package to ship them. Was an awesome trip. If they are as nice now as then, I'd suggest anyone to then.

That sounds like my kind of vacation. I don't think the wife and kids would be too happy though?
