I like it!

I never quite warmed up to the look of the Bestop or Kayline tops, the hoops always looked goofy. I think the Bronco needs a flatter roof like yours has. Props to you for having that eye for aesthetic.

If the level of quality is anywhere near what it was on the trail covers, this should be a fine product for anyone! Good work.

I'm with Gummy Bear on the looks. I don't really care for most soft tops I see on broncos, because they look like pyramids.%)
I really like the look of the prototype. Please put my name in the hat when they start into production. I have a decent hardtop now, but every Bronco needs more outfits.

What colors do you plan on?

I have done the whole org. color with the hard top and really like it. Most of the other tops only offer BLACK. Ok, if that is what you want. Do you plan on offering the Wimbleton White?

Here is what I plan to offer for white. It is not a wimbledon white but rather is an oyster white. I'll have 8 or 9 colors in the standard offering however I can offer 50 or so more while still using Sunbrella (Without the Sea Mark top panel). There is also another fabric called Top Gun that has another dozen or so colors but it has a different look and feel to it. (It reminds me more of vinyl than sailcloth)

TTT--any updates, photos or general comments, questions? I know I'm Anxiously awaiting progress....
Just working through details. (Mainly to be sure I can easily duplicate everything) I have the second prototype about half way done now I think.

How about a fast back version? for those with out the family style cage and no back seat that like the sportier look.

I'll watch for it. I saw something Friday on it from UPS in my email.

I'll put this with my list of potential future projects.

My vote(like it matters)= Flat roof, vertical back.
Of course it matters. It may not effect the outcome but I want as many opinions as I can get so I know if I'm going in the right direction or not.

I would happily get in on the soft doors initial run. Let me know once you start pushing on that front.

Safari Action

Sure. Just let me know and I'll get you my address.

The current plan is to just have the side and rear panels zip out. This will leave just the top panel over the frame making it a Safari Top when they are removed.

You are a genious, with the straight back and safari action. Zero money + I want one really bad =. For sure when i can get money in hand. Plus this is the best soft top I think. what is really cool is all the options and whatnot. Great work SaddleUp. I like the price tag also.

will this top work with stock doors too.
Yes. It's hard to see in the pics but I have a regular door on the drivers side which I'm using to set the door frames up. (Kudos to PDXBronco for letting me borrow a set of doors for this)

anymore pics of the top?
Once I have the top panel of the second prototype completed I'll get some more pics. It's pretty close now. Probably tomorrow.

I may play with the slope back idea after the first version is in production. The windows will be at least as large as the hard top windows and more likely than not will be even larger. Yes, those are snaps. I'm working on cutting out as many snaps as possible while still maintaining a good seal. For the remaining snaps I color coordinate them to the material. (The second prototype is using a military oxide black finish which blends in well with the black fabric)
