i "DEFINATELY LIKE" the square back to your top and the fact that it is different from all other tops made for the bronco. as someone said before it resembles the D-90 landrover. if i could afford one i would own one. but with your top it would be the best of both worlds. YIPPEE!

i also agree with the larger windows idea. when your trail riding its nice to see everything around you. now if only you could invent a windshield stretcher so i wouldnt have to strain my neck ducking down at stoplights to see when the light turns green. ha! ha!

I just bought a bestop I like it but the thing I would change the most is the rear window lift gate. If I were to build one I would figure out a way to use a framed gate with gas shocks.
Just my thought

Looks great .Hopfully you'll keep the lines of the classic Bronco hard top (flat top roof, slight angle in back and large side windows) No sense in making it look like any other vehicle.

what about a sun roof?
The main problem with a sun roof in a soft top is getting it to stay sealed. If the window is on the inside of the fabric then you build in a shallow bowl at the edges where water will build up. Being at the seams it is also the area most vulnerable to leaks. The only way to do it would be to put it on the outside and then fold the plastic windows over and interlock them with the fabric that way. That should keep the water flowing off the top rather than catching it in the lip. This assumes just a plain sun roof that doesn't open. For one that opens it would be a bit more complicated to get it to seal without leaking.

could someone pm me galens website if he still has one?
Send a PM to G-Money and ask him personally. I don't think the site is up anymore but he can probably get you any information from it you were looking for.

It would be interesting anyway. I drove by a fishing boat on the way over to Galen's house the other day that actually had an enclosed top that was made that way.

shhh..leave the guy alone so he can get my top done!!! ;D
I'm getting closer. I expect the full top prototype skin to be done tomorrow. I also need to swap a couple of hardware parts out but that shouldn't take long. (Werever possible I used cheap stuff on the first one so I would be able to modify it without cringing every time I drilled a new hole, I'm replacing that with the quality stuff now) Once that's done I'll drive it around for a few days to give it a good test while I catch up on the other orders I have. It's supposed to rain Sunday so I hope to give it a good test then. (It isn't often that I am hoping for it to rain)

I have the second prototype pretty much complete now. I still have a few details to work out but this is pretty close to what the production version will be.

Well judging be the photos there...that top looks sweeet! I can hardly wait!

Visibility issues go bye bye too from what I can tell.

You are quite responsive...so quick to get things done. I love it!!

Do you get snap rattle when u drive down the highway? I hated that on my old STC.

Looks awesome:cool:
Do you know how the height of the top compares to a hard top? is it a bit taller of the same height? With the hard top on I cleared the garage by little less than an inch. %)
