new sunvisor set-up

Personally, I have never liked the whole wiper cover/sunvisor system in the bronco so when we restored the interior, we left the cover off. I love the look of the electric finger guitine/wiper linkage in motion, but still would like sunvisors. Looking around Suzy Duff's Hi Ho bronco @ the F4A, I noticed her set-up. Rosen Sunvisor Systems
Street Shades by Rosen...Very cool system with tons of options. They clear the linkage and cage and look pretty trick at that. As you can expect from a product website that doesn't list prices, they are mighty proud of them...$$. Those of us without fab skills have to pay the piper sometimes.

Well, I don't have those fab skills so I ordered the shades...the pics above show my install...I went with the satin arm/mount and the classic shape lens in the driving grey.

sweet. nice looking machined parts. really a better set up than the factory ones since they swing in multiple directions.
i do like the choice in colored lenses. there are times you just need to break the glare, yet want to keep the visibility.
nice job on the install.
enjoy

Those are sweet! So bmcqueen, if you don't mind, how much did they set you back? If you have a price list for the different options that would be great too. Again, those look great.

That will set you back a few Benjamin's. Only for those who are not afraid to pay top dollar!! You do get what you pay for though... Most of the time. BI

On the $, I would rather not say for the fear of being tar and feathered by the "man (dumbass), I could have bought_________ for that money" crowd. Let's just say that bronco italiano is close to correct in his estimate. ;D

We all pay a little too much for something every now and then. Don't wory about it. I'd be interested in some, unless they are a couple hundred bucks, then I'd do without or search the junkyards.

But they look cool on your ride.

Another good place for visors is to look at the old FJ-40's I've seen some people use those and they are cheaper then original bronco visors.

Sfaforester, you will be at pick-n-pull. These are aircraft grade (big bucks) components. Because I am tall and have the bikini top I should not need them. But I will pay the Benjamin's (note plural) should I require them. BI

Like I said before...to each his own. Everyone has a function and look they are going for with their bronco. Some take joy in doing mods themselves with little investment and others just want the mod (having no skills)...even paying top $. I think that is what makes the bronco family so cool...everyone can tailor fit their ride to what they want...hard core "locked and loaded" trail rig to bone stock uncut...and it is appreciated by all bronco owners. Try finding that with any other car/truck group.

I agree...

Don't worry about not wanting the hind-sight guys to ride you. The visors are way cool, you should proud and happy. They look awesome!

It' too bad they are so expensive  , us poor guys :-[ would love to run with those too.

As we all know most of the Bronco guys are cheap. I mean squeeky. You have no reason to feel shame for doing something you like. The laws of compensation apply to everything. Offer, acceptance, deed and concideration. If you experience satisfaction after that process you are successful. The dollar amount is just an accounting proceedure.

I think they are cool by the way. If you are dis-satisfied you could charge the passenger to use theirs'.
