So this bronco sat in limbo for sale on the site long enough that I just couldn't resist but shoot the seller a message. We spoke a few times, I saw a few more pics and I stared at them for about a week at least. Finally, I had a followup call with the seller and we came to an agreement on a fair price cause I just couldn't get it out of my mind. A buddy of mine and I hit the road yesterday morning for the 7 hr trip to pick the bronco up and bring it home. Today I took it to the car wash for its first bath and to get the grit and grime from driving in the rain off. Figured I'd get a few pics to feed everyones addiction on here. ;) Thanks Again Evan!

BTW: I'd like to put correct sport door panels and a parchment floor mat back in it and a hardtop with trim back on it. Let me know if y'all get a line one any of these things.

Congrats Jessie! I think everyone of us that liked unmolested Broncos, admired this one and thought about how we could swing it! That's a beautiful Bronco just like it is! Yes, I think I would go with a hardtop with all the correct Sport trim too. Maybe we can drool over it at the SuperCelebration!

Glad it stayed in the CB family. Love this rig and the stance, looked back at the listing to check the tire size. Any fender trimming on the front or rub from the tires with the 33 x 10.50’s?

Thanks! I was hoping someone would snag it so I didn't feel so compelled but then I got nervous I was going to lose it and just had to make it happen. haha I saw a picture of it with the hardtop and trim, it looked awesome. Hopefully I can find a good one, I'd love for it to be original paint too if that isn't too much to ask. Ha.

I sure am glad to have it! Yep, both fenders have been trimmed in the front slightly. They don't rub as of now but I guess they did at one point.

I stripped a little of the black off in a inconspicuous area and unfortunately it looks like they may have stripped the top of the hood prior to painting the black.
I have a 1970 "standard" model Bronco in the same gold color. The bottom of my hood showed just like yours originally. It was originally primed in a black primer. The bottom of the hood was only partially painted, mostly by overspray from shooting the edges.

I purchased my color matched paint from TCP Global and they did a great job on the color match. It was single stage poly (a very fine metallic).

I haven't done too much to the 70 but change the oil. I've been out driving it and enjoying it around town and to and from work a couple of times. We've had some great weather the past few days so I decided to take it up to my folks to press the bushing out and in on some leafs for the 75. Its about 60 miles each way and is a great drive. The bronco performed awesome. It really is a nice driving bronco. Even with the drum brakes it stops pretty darn good but I still think I'd like to change to power front discs. Here's some photos I took while out and about.
