I chkd on CL just now to see what close to us and there are a couple. I sent emails to them as to where the bronco is located and which state the titles are registered in. I personally think they are scams but time will tell. CL is good for parts in some cases but u need to be careful when the seller starts asking for deposits or money through mail. Don't do it. If I hear anything I'll PM you. Both Broncos I sent emails too are $13k or less which means they probably don't run.
well if a 30k wont run maybe a 13k would;D
I really like that bronco's dash

PAD:p

just keep looking one will come along and ask a lot of questions here;)

I would be embarased to sell that Bronco at 30 K. But this is what your going to see when the Bronco's cost 15k and some one wants to flip it with a 5k-10k paint and body work make over. Just thank your stars it didn't start or you would have been stuck with it. You need an honest seller that will point out its faults not its merits. You need to take any potential purchase to a mechanic who will put it up on a rack and evaluate what the real condition. Dont just shop local and if your shopping in a 30k range whats $1500 to fly out and check out a truck and ship it. But at 30k you should just be able to fill the tank, check the oil, check the air in the tires and drive it home. You can buy a new car at 30 k and go any where. But 30k will not buy a New Bronco but it should buy a safe and steady one ready to go.

To my way of thinking any $10,000 Bronco should start right away the first time I turn the key.
One for $30,000 should be check the oil and tire pressure then drive it across the country.

Any Bronco that won't start is a project, those should be under $5,000

I have more questions than answers.
It can be very disappointing to start looking and find what looks like on the surface a nice Bronco close to home. You go see it and it doesn't start its not as nice as maybe you thought.
Now what???

You have some great offers of help to check them out with you. A link to a great example of what a Bronco in that price range should look like. Just the under hood pics and under carriage picks along with the pics showing the difference in the cleanliness of the seats really stand out as to the differences between the 2. There are other things but those are the easiest to see.

Walking away and coming here and asking for help will greatly increase your odds of finding a good one that you can just get in and drive with your dog. How would you have felt during that first trip that Bronco wouldn't start to get you home?

Keep asking questions and ask for help checking out any Bronco you find. Also try to read some past threads about Dealers and some individuals that have sold some Broncos and the problems the owners found latter.

Welcome and good luck finding the Bronco you want. Stay with this site so when you do have problems you can get help sorting them out and getting you back on the road quickly.
